We worked with Parrot Bay Furniture to craft an umbrella the way market and shore umbrellas used to be made–and the result is truly impressive. Sturdily constructed with a aluminum pole and steel frame, the umbrella stands 8′H and opens to a generously oversized 9′ in diameter. Eight ribs give the overhead canopy its distinctive octagonal shape.
The fashionable crank is functional, too: use it to open and close the umbrella smoothly to provide shade on demand. One push of a button tilts the umbrella, so you can keep the sun blocked throughout the day. The pole–a standard 1-1/2″ in diameter–fits the opening at the center of most patio tables.
